Are you anxious? Stressed? Do you need someone to talk to, someone who will listen? Then you have come to the right place. My ultimate goal is provide you a safe space to share and engage in the therapeutic process. By using a variety of approaches, we will work together to help with whatever thoughts are on your mind. I will give you real world tools to help you as you go on your journey. As a Resident in Counseling, I aim to help people from all walks of life to live their best life. I enjoy working with clients of all ages from children (focusing on play therapy) to adults. I love working with people of all ages, and use appropriate humor and affect to create a warm, comforting and safe space. While my specialization is in anxiety and mindfulness, I have experience working with many issues to include depression, college social issues, sexuality, relationships and group work. I look forward to working together to bring about positive change in your life! I offer evening/weekend hours to accommodate child/teen and working adults.

CHILD PLAY THERAPY
I help children aged 3 to 12 years old by utilizing play therapy, sand tray, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Parent involvement in the therapeutic process is necessary for children to achieve optimal benefits from the therapy.

POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition that's triggered by a terrifying event — either experiencing it or witnessing it. Symptoms may include flashbacks, nightmares and severe anxiety, as well as uncontrollable thoughts about the event.

Getting effective treatment after PTSD symptoms develop can be critical to reduce symptoms and improve function.

ANXIETY & MINDFULNESS
Anxiety is everywhere...a normal day occurrence. An anxiety disorder is much more than being very nervous or edgy. In mindfulness-based therapy, we focus on the bodily sensations that arise when you are anxious. Instead of avoiding or withdrawing from these feelings, you remain present and fully experience the symptoms of anxiety in a safe environment.
